Jenny Cheshire is a British sociolinguist and professor at Queen Mary, University of London.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Jenny Cheshire, Linguistics )〕 Her research interests include language variation and change, especially grammatical and discourse variation, spoken English syntax and narrative analysis. She has written widely on these topics for various publications. She is most known for her work on grammatical variation in adolescent speech.
